Spiced apple cake


200g Sugar
125g melted sunflower spread or vegan margarine
Egg Replacer (equivalent of 1 egg)
200g plain flour
1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
1 tsp ground cinnamon
2-3 apples cored and thinly sliced
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg (optional)
1/2 tsp all spice (optional)
1/2 tsp salt (optional)

Preheat oven to 170 degrees Celcius.

Mix all the ingredients in a bowl.

Place in a baking tin greased with sunflower spread or vegan margarine.
Bake for 40-50 minutes until golden brown on top.

Allow to cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes before removing from tin and allowing to fully cool.
